The Geological Analysis and Verification Center is a public service unit under the Vietnam Department of Geology and Minerals, Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Center carries out professional activities in geological and mineral analysis and verification, supporting basic geological surveys, mineral resource assessment, scientific research and the state management of geology and minerals.
Having grown alongside the Vietnamese geological sector, the Center has steadily built up its professional capacity and a team of qualified, experienced and dedicated staff, while investing in equipment, improving analytical methods, raising service quality and meeting the increasingly demanding needs of practice.
Development orientation
In the new period, the Geological Analysis and Verification Center aims to develop in a professional and modern direction, with professional quality and operational efficiency at its core, focusing on the following priorities:
First, improving professional capacity and service quality. Continuing to refine the quality management system, standardize technical procedures, and maintain and develop testing and analytical capabilities that meet practical needs.
Second, promoting science, technology and digital transformation. Gradually modernizing laboratory operations, strengthening data management, digitizing professional records and improving work processes.
Third, developing human resources. Focusing on training and developing staff, and promoting their capacity, experience, solidarity and sense of responsibility in performing their duties.
Fourth, improving governance and organizational efficiency. Reviewing and refining working regulations, coordination procedures and the allocation of responsibilities; using facilities, equipment and financial resources efficiently in accordance with regulations.
Fifth, strengthening cooperation and sustainable development. Expanding professional cooperation in line with the Center's functions and duties; improving service quality for clients and partners; and aligning the Center's activities with the rational and efficient management and use of geological and mineral resources.
As the Center comes under the Ministry of Industry and Trade from 15 September 2026, it continues to build on its professional foundation, maintain stable operations, adapt proactively to the new management requirements and perform its assigned tasks more effectively.
With its professional tradition, human resources and clear development orientation, the Geological Analysis and Verification Center strives to become a reputable unit in geological and mineral analysis and verification, making practical contributions to the development of the Vietnamese geological sector, resource management and sustainable socio-economic development.
